The Facilitation Process
What To Expect
Free Consultation Call:
A free-of-charge 20-minute conversation by phone or video conference
This is an opportunity for us to learn a little bit about each other and for us to decide whether we are a good fit as potential partners in your psilocybin journey.
Participant Intake:
The next step will be for you to fill out a thorough intake form.
This form will include questions about your physical and mental health history, past traumas and experiences, your social support network, and your hopes and initial intentions for working with psilocybin.
Preparation Sessions:
Typically 60-90 minute video conferences
Ist Prep Session - We will go through your intake form together and answer any questions that you may have. We will begin the discussion about what you can expect during the journey and begin planning out the practical details of the administration session. We will discuss locations and prepare you to schedule your journey at a Licensed Psilocybin Center.
2nd Prep Session - We will finalize logistics and make sure that all necessary OHA paperwork is completed. We will go into more detail concerning your hopes and intentions, discuss your emotional preparation, and finalize dosing agreements. We will work together to set up agreements to ensure that you are feeling fully comfortable and supported throughout your journeying experience.
Psilocybin Administration Session:
The actual psilocybin journey at a Licensed Psilocybin Center
A journey session may last 6 or more hours depending on the dosage of psilocybin taken and your body’s personal response to the medicine. I will be there to help you feel safe and witnessed for as long as your experience takes.
We will begin the day by preparing your room (you will be able to bring in personal items from home) and by reviewing all of our prior agreements. We will address any “day of” emotions that you may be experiencing, begin our formal ceremony (according to our previously agreed-upon terms), and review your intentions for the session. You will consume your psilocybin dose, lay back, listen to some music (if you choose), and remain open to the beginning of a journey of personal exploration and healing.
Integration Session:
60-minute video conference
You will receive a follow-up phone call within the next couple of days (not more than 72 hours after your administration session) for me to check in on you and for us schedule an integration session.
During the integration session we will go over the details of your journey to help you fully remember and process your experience, and I will offer additional resources to help you integrate any insights into your life.
